Overview

The Webflow integration lets you publish AI-generated, SEO-optimized content directly to your Webflow CMS collections. Cleversearch handles the field mapping, image uploads, and content formatting so your articles appear correctly in your Webflow site without manual copy-pasting or reformatting.

Combined with the Content Calendar, you can plan topics, generate articles, and publish to Webflow in a single workflow.

Connect Webflow to Cleversearch in five steps.

Get Your Webflow API Token

In your Webflow dashboard, navigate to Site Settings > Apps & Integrations > API Access. Generate a new API token with CMS read and write permissions.

Connect in Cleversearch

Open the Integrations page in Cleversearch, find the Webflow card, and click Connect. Paste your API token when prompted.

Select Site and Collection

Cleversearch will load your Webflow sites. Select the target site, then choose the CMS collection where content should be published.

Currently, each Cleversearch site connects to one Webflow collection at a time. You can change the target collection in the integration settings. Support for multiple collection targets per site is planned for a future update.

What happens if my Webflow field mapping changes?

If you modify your Webflow CMS collection structure, return to the Cleversearch integration settings to update field mappings. Cleversearch will detect new or removed fields and prompt you to remap them.

Does Cleversearch handle image uploads to Webflow?

Yes. When your generated content includes a featured image, Cleversearch uploads it to your Webflow asset manager and links it to the appropriate image field in your CMS item.

Can I publish content as a draft instead of going live immediately?
