Connect Webflow to Cleversearch to publish AI-optimized content directly to your Webflow CMS collections. Automatic field mapping, draft and live publishing, and SEO metadata support included.
Webflow powers over 3.5 million websites and has become one of the most popular platforms for design-forward teams building marketing sites and blogs. With Cleversearch's native Webflow integration, you can publish AI-optimized content directly to your Webflow CMS collections without leaving the Cleversearch dashboard.
This integration eliminates the copy-paste workflow between content generation tools and your CMS. Generate an article in Cleversearch, map it to your Webflow collection fields, and publish — all in a few clicks.
Teams using Webflow for their blog or content marketing face a common challenge: maintaining a consistent publishing workflow while ensuring content is optimized for both Google and AI search engines.
Cleversearch solves this by:
After connecting, Cleversearch displays your Webflow sites. Select the site and CMS collection where you want to publish content (typically your "Blog Posts" or "Articles" collection).
Cleversearch automatically detects your collection fields and suggests mappings. The field mapping interface supports these content roles:
| Content Role | Description | Webflow Field Types | |-------------|-------------|-------------------| | Title | Article title | PlainText | | Slug | URL slug | PlainText | | Body | Main content | RichText | | Excerpt | Short summary | PlainText, RichText | | Featured Image | Hero image | Image | | SEO Title | Meta title | PlainText | | SEO Description | Meta description | PlainText | | Primary Keyword | Target keyword | PlainText | | Tags | Content tags | PlainText | | OG Image | Social sharing image | Image |
Cleversearch shows auto-detected mappings with indicators so you can see which fields were matched automatically and which need manual configuration.
Choose your default publishing behavior:
Cleversearch checks field type compatibility to prevent errors. For example, it won't let you map a Rich Text content role to a Plain Text field that can't support HTML formatting. Compatible field types include:
Once configured, publishing content to Webflow follows this workflow:
Cleversearch handles all formatting conversion, image uploads, and metadata population automatically.
Currently, each Cleversearch site connects to one Webflow collection. You can change the selected collection at any time in the integration settings.
Content is published to your CMS collection. Whether it appears on your staging or production site depends on your Webflow publishing settings.
Previously published content remains in your Webflow CMS. Only the connection between Cleversearch and Webflow is removed.
Currently, the integration supports creating new CMS items. Updating existing items is on our roadmap.
The Webflow API requires a paid Webflow plan with CMS access.
